Memtest requires dedicated USB?

Hello guys I have a question, when I tried to install memtest to my USB it kept giving me warnings that everything will be deleted from the USB and that it may render the USB useless afterwards?

Does this mean that I need a dedicated flash drive for memtest?

Yes. Memtest needs to boot to test all memory. So it needs to make a bootable drive to do that. As a result, all else will be deleted. If you have an optical drive, just let it make an inexpensive bootable CD.

Yeah I actually dont have a cd drive in my computer lol! I found no need but thanks for the answer!
