Memtest86 vs Memtest86+ ( Which one should i use?)

I am going to buy used RAM, so before buying i want to test it with Memtest86.I don't know should i test it with Memtest86 or Memtest86+?

Memtest86+ was last updated in 2013 while Memtest86 gets updates frequently.

Despite having similar names, i guess these programs are designed by different teams.
What should i do?

last time I ran memtest it took about 4 hours... it is no fast test.

They started with the same code. I do use the one here -- https://www.memtest86.com/ but I think you would be OK with either. The commercial one has a GUI and a few other features. But the basic tests are similar.
