I was soooooooo excited to see the new long hair, and meshes I could get
from TSR and other places... I used the clean installer to install
everything I put in my documents sims folder and they were all supposedly
installed... I opened body shop and there is no long hair!!!!! Do I have
to do something different with meshes? I'm soooo backward at these kinds of
things...

Ummm, I think the long hair mesh is from Well Dressed sim and it is a
platinum download, meaning you gotta pay for it. Others have recolored the
hair tho and offer the recolors for free.................but if you don't
have the original mesh, you won't see the hair

Also, make sure that they did not get put into separate folders in your
downloads folder. Sub-folders work for floors, walls, terrain paints and
objects but not for anything body shop related.

First long hair mesh I saw was at MTS2 - it worked fine and I don't _think_
that it was a WDS creation. There was also a referral to a webpage with long
hair on the SimsShowCase mailout this week.

The long hair mesh created by the person at WDS is being used by a few
hairstyles offered at TSR, and those actually work in my game. There's
another mesh, the waist length hair mesh that's available at TSR, that's not
showing up in my game either.

At least that's my impression. I've seen the long hair mesh that WDS offers
on its front page and it's definitely the middle-of-the-back hairstyle that
I've currently got 5 or 6 colors of in my downloads.

Brianna, from WDS, posts some stuff at modthesims2 too.

Yeah, I know, that's why I said both where I got and that I didn't think it
was one of her testing posts. I can't be more specific because I deleted it.
I've decided to only collect custom hairs that have all the age groups built
in.

The mesh from WDS is also posted in that same thread at MTS2. They allowed
it's release to the public, according to what I read there. I downloaded it
and now all the hair shows up in my game.
