so yesterday i received my meshify 2 compact. i had been using a meshify c. one of the reasons i had been excited about this case is because of the usb type c port on the top front io. last night i built the case and in doing some research i tried to plug the cable from the usb type c port into the jusb4 header. it is not working. i thought it had been in securely last night, but i left my phone connected to the computer via the type c port and it didnt charge, nor does my computer recognize it as connected.

what did i do wrong?

Solution
Could be bad connector on PC case. It does happen.

To test it, you need 2nd cable, that has USB C internal connector on one end (so you can connect it to MoBo) and normal USB C at the other end, to connect into test device.

Contact Fractal Design and look if you can order a spare front I/O panel (which includes all connectors).
Now, i don't know how easy it is to replace one, if it's even possible, since i don't have any Fractal Design cases. I have Corsair cases and all of them are very user serviceable, including replacing front I/O (which i had to do, since power button was DOA).

Oh, you have one USB C port on the back of your MoBo as well. Look if that one works.
