[SOLVED] Meshify 2XL

I have a new system and the case is the Meshify 2XL, very happy with it. The front panel has 2 fans that came with it, and it looks like room for a third, but I measured the gap and its shy of 140mm , The spec says it can hold more fans but I am unsure where I am going wrong.

I would buy the same fan type as whats already in there, the Dynamic X2 GP-14, and just add it to the others, but does seem like 13.2 is a tight fit to get a 14cm fan in .

Anyone else got this case and have three fans running on the front panel ?

If you take the front panel off, you will see that the fans are screwed onto the case, via adjustable slots. You probably just need to loosen, raise, and retighten down those fans, to fit a 3rd.

Yeah, they show three 140mm in the front with what looks like a top mounted 480mm radiator with fans at the same time in the marketing images. So should just be a matter of moving things around.

Yeah but I measured the space and there's 132mm at the bottom for the third fan , so I'm wondering how they did that . The fans look as high up as they'll go , so either I'm missing something or it won't fit that third fan . I'm confused

The front section of the 'basement' is removable. This allows the fans to fit near the very bottom of the case, and all the way to top.

In the stock configuration, the bottom fan is just about sitting on the removable panel.

Ok thanks guys , I'll take the front panel off tomorrow and see if I can get them higher. Then I can buy the third fan with confidence

Incidentally, just to add to this, Fractal told me you have to remove the cover that goes over the PSU to use 3 x 140mm Fans. So I could literally just put a 120mm under the 140mm's if I so wanted.

Shame its just 8mm out
