I don't see why not.
It looks to be merely cosmetic.

Yeah, I think it is riveted, but I cant get my hands on one to see. But, Im also concerned that removing it entirely might adversely affect the integrity of the case.

Why do you want to remove the shroud?
I read a review of the case, and it does look like it is riveted.
I do not think I would try.

But, there is a removable paned in front that allows a full radiator to be mounted there.
(Not that I much like aio coolers).

I have fans I want in the bottom of whatever case I get and, more importantly, have custom cables that I do want to see coming out of the PSU...
