Hello,
This problem occured previously and was fixed with a change in some setting, but I don't remember what it was. When I try to install Flash Player the information bar does not appear, so the download can't be done. I have Vista and IE9 installed. I am using Microsoft Security Essentials, but in the previous fix that was not the problem.
Thanks for any ideas,
Dick

That is a bug they have been having with the automated updates.

You will have to do 2 different things. First is to go to Start / Windows Updates and insure they are all up to date.

Second, Open Internet explorer then click the settings tab next to favorites/ Internet Settings/ reset the security settings to default then click the Advanced Settings tab then click reset to force reset all the settings to default.

I could not download Flash Player from the adobe link above. However, I was able to find a place to download an exe to my computer and then install it from there. I guess the Adobe installer has bugs.
Thanks for your help.
