Hello, I have a 17" 10.7.5 Macbook Pro and I have acquired Messages, but every time I run it. It closes and give me this:

Messages requires OS X 10.8.

Ijack is correct, below is a link with the OS requirement.
"2.Requires OS X 10.8.2 or later and an iPhone phone number associated with the Apple ID used for iMessage on your Mac."

Would I be able to change any coding for it to work? I looked at the LMD required (i think thats what you call it) it says 10.7.3

The coding that you need to change is to install Mountain Lion. I'm not quite sure where you got the 10.7.5 information from; there was a beta for 10.7 but that was withdrawn ages ago.

Where did you "acquire" the program from?
