Long story short, I just did a complete reinstall of Win 7, and noticed I had 50mb hidden on my F drive. Because I was not sure what it was, I wanted to delete it. I followed these directions,

"Use the DiskPart Inactive command.

You will use the following DiskPart commands:
List Volume
Select Volume 2 (here I've used the letter 2. You use the correct one for your system)
Inactive (will mark the selected volume as inactive)
EXIT (which will exit from DiskPart)

To run DiskPart, you must go to an elevated command prompt."

And now my system will not boot on restart. I keep getting the error message, "Reboot or select proper boot device" but when I choose my SSD with the OS on it, the thing does not load!

Am i screwed? Any help would be seriously thanked beyond belief.

If you install Windows with 2 drives present, Windows will often install the boot loader on one drive and the OS on the other drive. It sounds like that's what you did.

If you have a Windows 7 install disk, boot from that disk, and do a repair, then get to a command prompt and issue the following command:

bcdboot c:\windows /s c:

That will force all the boot files to be on your "C" drive (your SSD). Then you will be all set.

Alternately, you can do the following from the Command Prompt:

BOOTSECT /NT60 C: ( or what ever drive letter you want to install the boot information onto)

Hi

You need to find your windows 7 DVD if you have one
Or a emergency windows system repair boot cd or USB
It must be made on windows 7 which is same 32 or 64 bit version as your version of windows
Home, pro or ultimate version not important

http://www.mydigitallife.info/how-to-create-a-windows-7-system-repair-disc-for-emergency-use/

Boot from this disk and let it repair boot system files
If what you reported is accurate you removed active partition status
Not the partition itself
So should be able to reverse situation

What were you trying to achive?
There is normally at least one hidden partition on windows Vista or latter 7 & 8
Do not try to remove them if you value a working PC or your sanity
