So my new AMD APU build has a 250 GB 7200 RPM hard drive. When I boot the computer, the light for the hard drive does not light up even though it is connected (yes, my Rosewill case came with a HDD light). I can't boot off of it. I have not got an optical drive or flash drive. Do I need to have one of those to download Windows? That's just a question, though - if my hard drive light is not turning on, does that mean that the Western Digital hard drive I got off of Newegg for $21.00 a faulty one, or maybe I even got scammed? (I actually don't know if you can get scammed, but hey, I got a used motherboard on my first attempt, so I guess you can sell stuff there?)
