Messed Up My Keyboard

My desktop PC running Win 10 was finished booting, or so I thought, and while typing a message to friend another program window came up. When I attempted to move the new window out of the way I must have hit a stray key or two. What looked like a small function window of some sort popped up. I closed it before I realized what I had done.

Now the PC doesn't type, space bar works, 'backspace' types a skinny vertical rectangle, 'enter' key still works, 'm' also functions as 'enter', 'n' opens a save window, 'a' highlights all text. Some functionality with the navigation keys like the arrow keys, home, and end. Last, I rebooted to see if the problem would clear up but it didn't help.

Any ideas how to restore my keyboard? Tia!

After your question and trying to find my keyboard settings I realized Win 10 was very different than Win 7. Found a YT video that said go Action Center>Settings>Keyboard>Filter keys. It recommended cycling the filter keys. It's working again.

Thanks
