Hello,
I bought a new hard drive to replace an original failing one my kids pc. Placed it in a new slot and tried to google how to set it as default...

From
Regedit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion
I changed 6 of the lines that data was in Drive C to E (new Drive). and I messed up.
IE: C:\Program Files\Common Files -> E:\Program Files\Common Files
Is there a way to access Regedit to revert this? I can't access anything located in the original drive C atm.

Solution
Perform a system restore to a point prior to when the issue took place. I must ask, are you replacing a failing data drive or an OS drive? Is the installation for Windows 10 anew or one availed through the free upgrade path? If an upgrade what was your prior OS?

Worst case scenario is that you have to reinstall Windows 10 but backup all critical content prior to reinstall.
