Heya really would appreciate more ideas here, as I've already spent 3 hours last night with no luck.

My pc specs are
Asus motherboard forgot full name
Rtx 3080
I7-8700k

I know for sure the computer components are quite okay, and that there's no power supply issue since it's worked fine for a year.
The issue started after I was setting up my Meta quest 2 vr last night.
Upon downloading and Virtual desktop and finally gettig it all set up. I launched Virtual desktop on my quest2, however i noticed after I tried launching beat Saber. That nothing was happening. Upon taking off my headset, i noticed the monitor has lost signal to my computer now.

From this point on, everytime I restart he computer. It gets to the manufactures logo, and then the windows logo where the circle spins. But instantly loses signal again once it finishes spinning

The other crazy thing is, even if I leave it on. My cox does not detect the pc on internet. However during my 3 hour troubleshooting, I realized at some point it had actually connected to the internet. I don't know if this is a correlation or not but just extra info that might be important.

Could really use some more advice

Solution
how it is connect wireless? dongle?

on a working pc, download a windows install to a usb flash drive, then use the flash drive to try a repair on the os

take the gpu out and test with the igpu?
I can try that USB idea, and it's connected to the pc via internet. It's using a application called oculous on my pc, and basically it links the two together. It could not be via internet but it's basically how I set it up according to the instructions

igpu. the integrated gpu on cpu.

plug the monitor to the motherboard output.

doesn't it come with a controller?
It does come with controllers, but I can't interact with my login screen on my desktop in the VR. I tried the unplugging the gpu from the motherboard and plugging the monitor HDMI to the motherboard, I didn't get a display at all. Not even the windows logo

Just incase if I'm doing this whole windows safe mode incorrectly, can you tell me the steps on how to do it? I've been turning the pc off once I see the windows logo 3-4 times
that should do it

Also crazy idea, but if I take the SSD that the application is downloaded on, and put it in a different pc. To try to get a display normally and delete the software, is that possible?
you could try. but it likely a driver
