Metal Gear Solid 5 Phantom Pain switch weapon problem

Hi guys
I recently started playing Metal Gear Solid 5 but i am unable to switch my weapon in my PC when i scroll my mouse wheel it doesn't change i even checked the setting, please let me know how to switch weapons & let me know any tricks or cheats in the game.

You tap "1" key for switching primary weapon, "2" for secondary, hold down for bringing up an UI

Do we need to just press numpad 1 & 2 or any other combination of keys is needed.

The normal number keys above QWERTY by default. Keybindings should be editable in options.
