Metal plate fell of motherboard

So this metal plate fell off my motherboard , MSI 350b tomahawk , looks like a brake pad and there 2 of them, do I need a new motherboard. Oh it was super hot btw

Such metal plates are usually there to distribute heat in a more efficient way than the components can do on their own. MSI has had a good reason to install them...besides the visual factor.
Still assuming that your case has a proper airflow there should not be the need to replace the MB. Try fixing the plate again. There is multiple ways of doing this.
