Hi all,

I have a living room gaming PC and was wondering if there is anyway to power on the system from cold with an Xbox controller, rather than pressing the power button on the PC tower?

Alternatively, is there a way power on the PC any other way, i.e. with a Harmony remote?

I have an IR receiver connected via USB, but it only seems to work when the system is in suspend/sleep mode. Presumably because the USB port isn't powered whilst fully shut down.

My motherboard is a MSI B450I Gaming

Any other ideas would be welcome!

Thanks in advance

Solution
Set the bios to power on when it receives power and use a WIFI controlled power outlet. Wake on WIFI is iffy. If you had a wired ethernet you could use wake on LAN.
