[SOLVED] Metro 2033 doesn't start up

Hello,

I am having a problem with metro 2033 where when I start it doesn't start. It just says on steam that Im playing it than it switches off after like 10 seconds.

I tried windows 7 capability mode, running as an admin and updated my drivers.
Anyone know how to fix this ?

Compatibility is not the problem I run it on windows 10 no problem.
You should restart the PC if you didn't already do that after the install (sometimes you need a reboot for things to get installed correctly)
also in the SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Metro 2033\ directory there is a directory called install that has all the required third party software,try to re install all of them to see if that fixes it.
