Hi everyone,
I've recently reinstalled my copies of both Metro 2033 Redux and Metro:Last Light Redux in Steam. Upon launching the games, my resolution is drastically low and stretched on my screen. When going to the settings in game, the highest resolution option I have is 1920*1440. My specs are:
I7 8700k @5.0ghz
GTX 1080
16 gb Ram
Z730 motherboard
3840*2160 4k monitor

I've gone into the user files and tried to manually set the resolution to my native resolution but the issue persists. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This from Metro 2033 Redux PCGamingWiki...

"Some users have encountered issues such as not being able to set their native resolution; the game resetting their chosen resolution to a lower one; or the game's maximum available resolution being lower than their monitor's native resolution.[4] Such cases may be caused by the presence of multiple monitors attached to the computer, or attempting to play the game on an attached TV where larger resolutions may not be available. Possible solutions include unplugging any extra monitors[5] or setting the multi-monitor display mode in Windows to "Computer Only"."

This from a Steam Forum thread on Metro 2033 Redux

"OK. I managed to fix the problem. I uninstalled and installed again my Nvidia drivers and problem solved. Thanks for your help everyone."

Mileage may vary, but the game was made to play at native 4K on the Xbox One X, so I don't see why it shouldn't on PC. At the very least if you can't get it to run at native 4k, you should be able to get it to run in 4k DSR by enabling the 4x DSR Factor in NCP.

Hi Frag Maniac,
I tried all three of your suggestions. My PC only detects the single monitor I am using. I uninstalled and reinstalled the latest nvidia drivers, and I attempted the DSR settings you suggested and nothing seemed to happen.

If you checked the 4x box DSR Factor in NCP, you should see a 3840x2160 res option in the game. If not, there's more wrong than just with this game.
