Question MFA on workgrouped Windos 2012R2/2016 servers?

I have a number of stand alone, workgrouped, Windows Server 2012R2 and 2016 servers that I need to see if there is any product out there to set up multi factor authentication for the log in of local accounts. Everything I see online are for domain or cloud system. Anybody know of anything??

Almost anything working on a Windows deskop would work (standalone) on Windows Server.

that I know but it doesn't help with answering the question, computer or server, is there a way to do MFA for the OS on a stand alone machine?
