MFC-9600

Have a MFC-9600 and the print quality is perfectly clear but when I make copies the image is greyish, enlarged and a little blurry. The toner is new, replaced the drum but they couldn't have been the problem since the print quality is fine. Same with the rollers. This happened once before and mysteriously went away for 1 1/2 years. Any idea on what I else I should check or try here?

Can you get at the corona wire ? May need cleaning -- usually a tool supplied with toner carts.

Worth doing, though I appreciate that the problem may be with the scanning bit.

Possibly a setting in the scan software ?
