I've been having problems for some time now, mainly my PC getting slow and then freezing and I had to restart it. I checked for viruses and such, there was no sign of any.
Later on(all this happened in the span of like 1-2 weeks) it froze again, but this time it had problems turning on. Turned out it had something to do with the registry, one of them was corrupt or something along those lines. I did fix it, or at least I think. I know how to google and look for a way to solve my problems, but I still don't really understand the problems themselves.

My friend warned me to still be careful, even if I did fix it. These things started happening again, mainly my PC just slowing down and freezing. But I did notice after to "fix" that my PC overall was slower, slight freezes and I noticed that Photoshop(which I use a lot) was way slower than usual.
I got concerned, checked the task manager if something new/weird was using my my RAM, but nothing. I checked for virus or anything of that sort, yet again nothing weird. I started to get paranoid, so I used "HD Tune" to check how my HDDs are doing, I did not want to lose any of my stuff. No problems at all, no bad sectors. I had no idea what to do, everything seemed okay, even if it obviously wasn't. Yet again it froze, I restarted the machine, problems arose again.

Finally I got it too boot up and work. I check "My Computer" and I can't see how much GB I have used and have(the usual things that show) on my D: drive. I press it expecting an error message, I got "D:\ is not accessible disk corrupted and unreadable" (now, after the stuff I did I get "D:\ The parameter is incorrect"). I tried different stuff, including using TestDisk and "repair MFT" and I got what's in the title basically. I did try the "chkdsk" thing, for C: it did "work" in the sense that it checked the files(or whatever this option does). When trying to do it with D: drive I get "The type of the file system is NTFS.

Corrupt master file table. Windows will attempt to recover master file table from disk."
Doing it in either with CMD or just letting it do it when the PC boots, both times the same result.
I also tried "HD Tune" again just now and it said that the health is Ok and only 0.1% damaged sectors. The weird thing is that C: is working, albeit everything is slower, while D: seems dead(they are both on 1 HDD).
I do plan on formatting the HDD completely, but still is there some way fix the D: drive. I heard of drive cloning and such, but that won't work since I have another HDD, but it's only 500GB(while the corrupted one is 1TB, even if I choose specifically D: to be cloned it's still 700GB). I also thought of file recovery software like Active File Recovery, but just scanning the drive would take more than 200 hours(that's what it said), then if you add recovering the files it would take even more.
So is there anything I can do to fix D:, get only my most important files to my 500GB HDD and then format it?
Thank you in advance! I really do appreciate it!

Format it? ... I'm sorry, your drive it kaput and needs to be replaced.
Why? You said its 1tb and has 0.1% bad sectors. Thats 2,000,000 sectors * 0.001 (0.1% if you aren't good with math) which is roughly 2000 bad sectors. You cant trust this drive to hold anything important!
I throw out drives when they get a couple...

What you need to do is install a new drive (and probably windows & everything too) and then attempt to recover your important stuff to the new drive. You never recover to the same drive that you are recovering from. (This is what you were going to attempt; a very bad idea)

IF you recover anything, consider yourself very lucky because the basic rule is that you can't even trust a new drive. Important data needs to...

Ahhh I see, so that's how it is 🙁. I'll try and see what I can do then. Thank you very much for the answer :)!
