MG28UQ 4K Monitor 60Hz?

So I've decided I should upgrade from my 1080p 60hz monitor since I'm using a GTX 1070 with intel i5 4690k. The thing is this monitor (ASUS MG28UQ) 4K 60Hz monitor caught my attention for a really good deal, Cheaper than any 144hz 1440p monitor out there. My question is, can I use that monitor to watch videos and do my stuff on 4k and game @ 1440p 144hz? is that possible? Looking forward to an answer! (Btw the MG28UQ is on sale for 250 dollars off)

Your monitor will not display anything at 144hz. Its rated for 40-60 hz.
