? MI3 Finding Elaine

Help please. Monkey Island 3. I'm in part 4 The Bartender, The
Theives, His Aunt and her lover - I went to the windmill and filled an
empty bottle with sugar water. The walkthru says exit the windmill and
go to the clearing where you will discover Elaine in her golden form.

Where is the clearing? Is the clearing where the windmill is? The map
doesn't show a clearing.
