Mic boost slider stays at zero and cannot be adjusted

I just got the HyperX Cloud ll headset and I cannot change the mic boost, it is stuck at zero. Is there any way to solve this issue? I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling sound drivers, but it's not working.

To my knowledge (I am using the Cloud IIs) you cant use the windows mic boost with the USB sound card installed.
If you just use the 3.5 interface (single 3.5 to dual 3.5 to the motherboard) you then can.
