Question Mic doesnt work

So my QPAD QH85 headset's mic stopped working on my Pc but it still works on my laptop?

It gets recognized properly as a microphone but doesnt pick up any sounds. The play/pause button on the inline controller which is only supposed to work on iPhones makes a sound when you press it.

Any solutions? Already reinstalled windows once :-(

So the headset mic originally did work on the PC before - correct?

Have you tried running the built in Windows (10?) troubleshooters?

Did you try reinstalling the applicable audio drivers? Download from the manufacturer's website, reinstall, and reconfigure.

However, you mentioned an inline controller with respect to an iPhone. Was that controller also in use before and working?

PCs and Apple products use different physical connections. "Pinouts".
