[SOLVED] Mic not being detected in Windows 10

Hi,

I just bought a razer kraken headset and I plugged the 3.5mm jack into my laptops headphone/microphone jack and mic isn't being picked up, it doesn't show in the recordings tab while the headphones work just fine. I tried it on my phone and both the headphones and mic worked just fine on there so I know the problem is windows. Any ideas on what to do?

Answer: Enabled realtek audio universal service on startup and
Had to uninstall other microphones listed in disconnected devices and then defaulted my microphone to one of them and it worked somehow.
