Mic not detected???

Hey guys please help me. I am an asus pro mobo and have realtek hd audio manager installed (windows 10). I just got my new kingston hyperx 2 headphones and i connect the mic to my headphone and connect the headphone 3.5mm to my headphone jack. It doesnt recongise my mic though??? What do i do?

I am going through this -exact- same issue with these headphones.

When I went through the HyperX support page it said to load/reload the motherboard's drivers, which I did. Nothing changed. Then I noticed that HyperX does not offer any driver for the headset, even though it has 'soundcard' built in-line.

I tried contacting HyperX/Kingston online and got no response from their online tech chat, online customer service chat, or emails.

A hundred bucks down the drain.
