Question Mic not working on earphone

I recently format my pc after having problem hardware problems. After i install all the drivers for my windows, i have some technical issue which are the mic on my earphone keep making static noise and not recording my voice. I am using an apple earpod on a pc. I tried surfing the internet and searching videos on youtube regarding my problem but still not working. Anyone know the solution for this problem?

In the Apple link that you provided scroll down to " Compatibility + "

Note that all the listed devices are indeed Apple products; i.e., no mention of "PC", Windows, etc..

Your earphones are likely CTIA/Apple and will not work with directly with your pc.

There may be an adapter that could be used.

You will need to and should verify the pinouts and applicability before buying any such adapter.
 
You can do what I did with my headphones. I use Bose QC25s and then use a splitter.

My QC's are for Android (I just bought an Android cable) but I do have an Apple cable - problem is left it in my other country of origin, so can't tell you if it works. I am sure it does though
