Mic not working

My mic is not working on my splitter to my pc, but other headsets work. It works on my phone without a splitter and has worked on my pc for 1 year, until 2 days ago. Sound works.

I had what sounds like a similar problem earlier this year after a Windows 10 update. For whatever reason the update turned off my permission for games and apps to you my microphone. My headset worked just fine, but the mic stopped. If you are using Windows 10 go into Settings, Privacy and click microphone under App Permissions. Make sure access is turned on. Worked for me.
