So I was playing fortnite and I decided to unplugged my mic, which then stopped the headphones from the headset working. So I replugged my mic and it has since stopped working. Headphones from the headset still works perfectly fine.
I've tried all sorts of things such as audio device manager, restarting, re-plugging and unplugging. The PC detects the mic as an audio device, but picks up no volume. If I boost the mic until there are green bars in audio device manager, then all I get is a fuzzing sound that doesn't pick my voice up.
I honestly don't know what the heck is going on, I bought this mic a couple months ago and have no idea why this is happening. It's a Kotion Each G2000 by the way. Also, I have no way of validating whether it's the actual mic or the mic jack as I don't have another device which has a microphone jack (the only other device in which I own is an ipad air and I don't think the heaphone jack supports mics).
