Mice wars 2015

Dignified
Basically, this thread is super fab.

I wouldn't mind knowing what you guys think the best mouse is currently:

Corsair M65
Logitech G502
R.A.T 9
Logitech G700S
Cougar 700M
Razer Deathadder
Razer Naga
Razer Orobos
Corsair M95
Corsair Sabre
My Soundcloud mixtape
EVGA Torque X10
Coolermaster Mizar
Coolermaster Havoc
-----------------------------------

Hint** I am buying a new mouse. I want an opinion on them without insane bias on a certain mouse for example, the deathadder is the best there because its been around for a while and everyone loves it but the same spec'd mouse from brand x is crap.

I know I may be a demanding son of a gun but if you guys could suggest the best mouse there or any others you may think works then that'd be great.

Inteded use?

4K browsing and gaming. Some photoshop. DPI shift (or a sniper button) would be fab.

Solution
Mixtape.

Ah, jk. I'll arrange the mouses in categories

FPS:
M65
G502
RAT 9
G700S
Deathadder
Ouroboros (Ambidextrous, would recommend a different mouse for a more ergonomic grip)
Sabre
Torq x10
Mizar
Havoc

MOBA/MMO/RPG:
G700S
700M
Naga
M95

The overall winner of this in my opinion is:
-HH-'s mixtape check it out fam

No, just kidding. It really depends on what you want to use it for. You should go down to a computer store to try them out, and see which one you like the best. I would suggest the G502 or a Deathadder. Just go down to a store and feel them, and decide which is most comfortable.

I would eliminate everything from this list except the G502, Deathadder, or M65. Wireless is bad.

Thanks Tofu, the issue is you can't in the UK. The only place that's really a popular pc store is overclockers and that's like 300 miles away in Newcastle. Any other PC stores don't really allow you to try stuff out which really sucks. I don't have the largest of hands but I do stretch it out quite a bit and i'm finding the Corsair sabre is too small for me and the palm of my thumb is making contact with my mouse Razer Sphex mouse pad which feels like sand paper.

My mix tape is 11/10.

IMO the higher the DPI the better, I'm quite awkward and I am currently using the sabre at 8200dpi on desktop and 2400 in fps games. Dota remains at 8200.

I play dota around 60% of the time im playing games. I play GTA via an xbox control but fps games are a keyboard and mouse job.

If they made an RGB version of the G502 I reckon I'd have gone for it already.

I'll look into it. I've been a little put off by the AA battery side of it and I'm a little weary of it but I will research it more.

The Chroma DeathAdder should do good, then. I have a normal DeathAdder and my thumb doesn't touch the pad.

I'll look further into it. I'm still thinking about the G502 just for the extra buttons and HUGE dpi over the death adder bar the fact apparently Logitech are amazing with mice.

Eh, Logitech's stuff is weird. My G710+ Cherry MX Brown Keyboard is fine, but my G430 headset's audio keeps cutting out when there are multiple sound sources, or when I press a key like Caps Lock. I think I've found a fix, but we'll have to see. The issue is probably still going on right now.

This is similar to the mouse I use. (This is the f7, mine is the f4)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/A4Tech-XL-747H-Laser-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B002V9WYPM

Has left/right/center click, a 'sniper' type button just ahead of the scroll wheel next to the left click, two thumb buttons, adjustable weights and dpi. It's a laser mouse though, a lot of gamers prefer optical. Personally I don't see any difference but then I'm not fatal1ty either lol. I use it for general pc use, photoshop, fps type games without issue. You may not care for the 'low' dpi of 3600 on the f7. I don't use mine at 4k though either. My screen res is 1600x1200 and I don't have to move my arm at all, just a flick of the wrist to hit all 4 corners of the screen.

You mentioned your thumb hitting the mousepad, mine does once in awhile. Doesn't bother me much, mine's cloth (steelseries qck thick) though and not sandpaper-like which makes a big difference.

Basically I had a generic old logitech 2 button mouse that I wore the feet off of using a hard gaming pad. Got a gigabyte mouse that ran me about $50 and the left click on it died within a year. Was hunting for a mouse and came across the a4tech when it was on sale for a really cheap price (like $16 if I recall) and I took a chance. Never heard the brand before and figured if it died right away no big deal. That was a good 2-3yrs ago and it's still going strong lol. Adding weights to it helped for photoshop use when doing precision work since it doesn't tend to wander and allows me to control it a bit better.

I'm not knocking the mouse because it sounds kinda decent but the aesthetics of it are tacky IMO. I'm looking for something high end which feels awesome. I think there is a new R.A.T mouse coming out that looks sick. The RAT XO I believe which modular everything that looks kinda cool.

Yea it doesn't win an award for looks if you're talking about the a4tech. Kind of a grunge look lol. I wasn't looking to spend a fortune on a mouse though and the gigabyte looked great. It was a g series, looked like this one. If only the left click hadn't died so soon on it. Had to keep pressing harder and harder until it flat wouldn't register anymore. Besides, if I had slick looking mouse like the r.a.t. it might detract from my ms k600 keyboard lmfao. (that's what a keyboard tray is for, to hide the fugly peripherals 😛 ).
