[SOLVED] Micro ATX motherboard for gaming (no overclock)

Hi
I'm looking to upgrade my i5 3570, Gigabyte LG1155 setup. My current setup is a micro ATX and I want to keep the setup compact.
It's been a long time since I hunted for new components on the market. Anything I should be aware of? I'm not looking for doing overclocking so that's not important.
Any recommendation for micro ATX LG1200 socket?

If anyone would like to suggest an upgrade pack with micro ATX that would be very welcome as well.. Looking for new MB, CPU (want to keep Intel), Cooler, RAM (not so important right now)

Cheers!

What is your budget?
How much of an upgrade do you need?
What is the primary use for this pc? Gaming/batch production?

I have been a M-ATX user for a long time. Primarily because I have restrictions on case size.
Today, there is little reason for 7 expansion slots vs. 4.

Your i5-3570 has 4 threads and a passmark rating of 4899. the clock is 3.4
The single thread rating is 2046; that is what games need most.

The $120 Intel i3-10100 is a 8 thread processor with a rating of 8904/2649. It turbos up to 4.3 It comes with a perfectly adequate cooler.

Any lga1200 M-ATX or ITX motherboard will do.
If you like Gigabyte, here is an example for $77

You will need DDR4 ram. A 2 x 8gb kit of DDR4 2666 speed is going to be $60 or so.
Intel does not depend on fast ram for performance and 2666 is the fastest that basic motherboards
support.

Not mentioned is the main drive. Modern motherboards support fast m.2 pcie ssd devices that plug into the motherboard.
No power or data cables needed.
I highly suggest you include such a device in your plans.
The best might be a 1tb samsung 970 evo plus @ $170.
If you are budget constrained, a slightly lower performing intel 665P would be $113

Of course, if your need and budget are more, you can go higher,
