Hi guys,
I made the decision today to go for the 7600k as part of my gaming / HTPC build. You can see the full spec list below.
I've been torn between motherboard options. Anyone have any suggestions? I'll be overclocking so I need either a Z170 or Z270 board. I believe my Prodigy M case can support Mini itx, but it's made for Micro ATX so ideally I'd prefer to go for that form factor... but it looks like there are better mini itx boards that would be more suited to my needs. Would I lose out on much by opting for a mini itx over a micro atx?
The only requirement for the board I have is that it has a SPDIF output as someone in my family is investing in a Sonos sound system and this will be hooked up to it. Beyond that I would PREFER if the board came with a built in WIFI & BLUETOOTH module so I don't have to buy an aftermarket PCI card to add that functionality. Unfortunately I haven't seen many options which have both the SPDIF out and wifi/bluetooth... I'm hoping I might have missed something. If you have any pointers or suggestions I'd really appreciate it!
