I am the type of person who doesn't usually upgrade system units, I only upgrade mine for like every 5 years, so I think m-atx is the best fit for me. Even though using atx gives more flexibility in parts only for a small increase in space, I am not the type of person who uses liquid cooling, cross fire, sli, and the like. Anyways, the downside of it for me is that the portability won't affect me, as I won't be carrying it anywhere else, except here, in my house.
So do you think micro-atx is good for me?
Can you suggest or at least give me a link of good m-atx mobos?
I am mainly looking for the ones with special features like more durabilty, better sound quality, (optional but kinda ideal) good mobo cooling, overclocking, etc. (You can suggest more features that are kinda good for a gamer, student, and sometimes image/video editor for projects 😛)
I took a look on asus motherboards, but I think they're overkill as I won't need so much power like quad SLI or quad XFire on an m-atx motherboard...
Anyways, (ideally, if I have or can get the budget) the parts that I will be putting in are the following:
i5-4470k
r9-270x (ideally OC version)
8 GB of ram (I think I would go for one stick, so I can upgrade it when I get more money)
A silver 80+ 600w PSU
(I have no idea what case to use)
And a sealed-liquid cooling system for CPU as I will do some overclocking (if I can buy one, and if it fits)
I also accept suggestions/comments for my build, but as much as possible, I will just stay in a range of $600 - 800.
