I got a dell E93839 GA0404 Board for $4. Got to the house to get it installed in a case and found out a regular PSU main connector wont fit it. It has a smaller black 24 pin connector labeled "micro power" and then a standard white 4 pin connector by the cpu like a standard board. I have never seen something like this granted I am a novice to computer builds. My question is 1) What is this? 2) Is there an adapter to make a standard PSU work with this board

Thanks guys!

That particular name might be proprietary to that board maker. I'd start with the pin count and go from there, most likely, you can order it from China, but you'll need whatever name they gave to it. If it's not from a recent computer, say, 5 - 7 years ago or more recent, there might not be an adapter for it. If it makes you feel better, so far I have been able to find every adapter I've been looking for the past couple years on eBay, however, I have spent hours narrowing down the searches and going through page after page of iPhone adapters and phone crap to get to one or two listings that had near what I was looking for, or what I was looking for.
That's what I hate about brand name computers, always something "special" about them, a lot or just enough to make you buy their own (and overpriced) spare components. Only two things I can think of, either find an adapter or PSU from same computers they put those MBs in.

Ok guys i was able to find out that the board came from a dell optiplex 780 and that it had a speical PSU with some digging i found out they call the connector a 24-pin mini ATX. I found sevral adapters the only one specifically saying dell is from china http://www.ebay.com/itm/ATX-24pin-to-Mini-24pin-Converter-Adapter-Power-Cable-For-DELL-780-980-760-960-/112003563835?hash=item1a13eec13b:g:KU8AAOSwhQ5XP9K4

But i have found in the US ones that look the same under the name mini atx but they say HP or no brand at all do you all think this will work?
