Micro SD card corrupted

i was using 32gb micro SD Card all these days for my sony xperia-c. now that i wanted to change my phone. i happened to transfer the data from micro sd card to laptop by cut paste method. while doing so i cancelled the file transferring which resulted in corrupting of file. now that am not able to read the files and transfer. kindly suggest

Well your options are as follows:

Try the card with the phone and if it can read the data, connect the phone itself to the computer, so that you can transfer the files.

Data recovery - check out the suggestions from this thread: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-1644496/lost-data-recovery.html and if you don't succeed with any of them, there's an article with a lot of other suggestions http://pcsupport.about.com/od/filerecovery/tp/free-file-recovery-programs.htm.

Ubuntu - try and access the card via Ubuntu Live USB (this is basically a bootable, freeware, portable version of Linux), to see if the card is properly recognized and if you can get to the files.
