Micro SD card data recovery

Hi guys my LG G4 went into bootloop yesterday So i send it out for repairs but it turns out my SD card is now corrupted and I tried putting it in my brothers sd card slot on his G4 but the drive doesn't even show up in the windows explorer is there anything I can do to try to recover my files. I don't care about movies and photos, well photo's a little but I really really care about my music collection. maybe just format the drive and then run a recovery program as soon as it has been formatted?

Try recuva https://www.piriform.com/recuva, it works pretty good

Thanks I heard from multiple sources that Revuca is a good program, turns out my SD card has my old library on there and I recovered it pretty easy with some commands in CHKDSK but the internal storage of the G4 has all my recent music on it which I don't have a backup off. LG is probably gonna wipe my phone is it still possible to run Recuva on the internal storage of a phone?
