For the first time in a long time I got a phonee with a micro SD slot, I put in a class 10 sandisk 64gb card (almost exaclty 1.5 years old), got stored in an unused tablet til I put it in the phone. I worked phone for 5 months, they didnt see the drive, retarted and it worked for 2 more days, then it would see thw root directory but didnt recognize the folders as folders. I restarted afain and the sd was gone for good. Its not showing up in win 7 component management.
other flash storage devices died over the years, even the dead ones shower up as something recognized but corrupted, or hardware inaccessible, unknown harder, etc.
This card behaves like tHe slot is empty (and does this on the fone and pv).
Is this dead sd card behavior? Is there a way to confirm?
