I have multiple 16gb micro SD card that I have been using without any problems. I recently tried to use them in 3 different PC's but none of the computers would recognize them. I use a usb micro SD card reader however when I bought a different one it also is not being recognized.

In device manager I can see the device as Generic STORAGE DEVICE USB Device, however in folders under This PC there is nothing. I tried to reinstalling the drivers with no help.

They used to work perfectly fine but they randomly dont work anymore all at the same time on all my computers. I'm assuming its a windows update but I dont see anyone else with the same problem and I tried rolling back on the latest update with no help.

EDIT** The SD card reader is broken, and other one I bought is a DOA. None of the SD cards are broken, just the reader.

Simply ask and I will answer. There is a thing as too much information as I can give you my GPU and CPU specs (290x 9590fx) however I dont see how that change the fact that they dont work on 3 separate computers and that they used to work on all those 3 computers. I dont know what information you need until you reply with questions.

Cards are sandisk 16gb SD cards
OS is windows 10 (explained in the OP as I was using device manager and uninstalled the latest update)
Yes I used the backside USB ports. Ive tried 4 different ports on every PC.
Card reader is a generic nonbrand micro sd card reader

None of the SD cards are damaged, but the SD reader is. I bought a sd card reader from office max and it works reading all of my cards. Looks like I got a DOA sd reader. As for the other one, it worked me well for many years. Small and compact, but its life came to an end.
