Hi,

Happy new year! Hopefully I have the right forum :)

I'm trying to get my head around micro-sd cards. Basically, I have a 32gb Sandisk Ultra ( https://www.amazon.co.uk/SanDisk-mi...43776533562:pla-348080513499&psc=1&th=1&psc=1 )

When I try a test on it using SpeedOut, I get a pitiful:

The advertising says up to 98mb/s, and I'm not even getting a quarter of this. I have tried it with my direct sd-card slot on the PC, as well as a micr-sd card adaptor (to use on a USB-3 port)

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!

Andy

Thanks for the reply. Are you saying the 98mb/sec is wrong? It has it on the box as well:

I'm no expert on micro-sd speeds, thus my question. What kind of speed would you expect me to get from this type of class? (I had a look at the chart, but couldn't get past the lingo and what it was telling me :))

Thanks

Andy

yup. and it said up to xxx, which mean nothing.
and the ** said internal testing. that nothing too.

reading some amazon review
possible you got a fake.
Rubbish. Any suggestions on the fastest brands a d classes to get? (Ideally with a link on Amazon so I can check as well :)). It seems a bit of a mine field with cards!

Thanks

Andy
