Micro Stuttering - Mobo ?

First post here, admin please move thread if it doesn't fit...

I'm having some micro stutter issues and I'm really not sure whats causing them.
Could use some advice, here are my specs.

CPU - i5 4670k
GPU - Nvidia 980 Superclocked
Mobo - z87 Extreme 4
SSD - WD black 2 dual drive
PSU - FX ts850
RAM - 24GB (overkill yes, my friend moved so I just put it in)
Watercooling

Temperatures do not exceed 70c

Micro stuttering occurs when playing League of Legends or even simple games like Terraria.
Tried OC'ing to see if I was bottlenecking my gpu, no luck.

Thought maybe the GPU was underpowered so i bought the new PSU (black friday, oh well)

Adaptive Vsync in Nvidia panel, even when set to off no luck.


Still need some help.

i hope you mean sudden drops in FPS by 'Micro Stuttering' ... is yes what is the drop rate ..

In this order:

1) Reset your monitor to factory defaults.
2) Remove any manual overclocks on graphics cards.
3) Reset your bios to factory defaults.
4) Clean boot your os: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929135.
5) Run a full scan with your anti virus.
6) Check for malware with these programs: Malwarebytes, Toolslib's ADWCleaner.
7) In windows search, type "%temp%" and press enter. Delete all contents of this folder. Skip the ones that wont delete.
8) Shut off your anti virus temporarily, just to check if stuttering stops. Completely exit it if you have the option.
9) Check the integrity of your operating system. This scan will let you know if there's an issue.

-->b) right click cmd and select run as administrator.
-->c) type "sfc /scannow"

I tried these things, I will let you know if it is solved after a little bit of gameplay.

- Doesn't seem to have fixed the problem. Still stuttering.

what RAM brand do you use?

4 sticks of ram
2 team vulcan
2 rip jaws
