I was watching some Twitch Streams then I went to lie down and left the PC running. My brother came in and asked if he could use the PC and I said yeah. He signed in to his User and plugged in a Xbox Controller causing my PC to shut down immediately. After I removed the side panels I took out the Motherboard outside the case and placed in on a table with only the power supply connected to the CPU and 24 pin. I also removed the GPU. I used my screw driver to try to simulate the power button but no post.
I have a power supply tester that my power supply came with but the power supply still spun. I even tried my friend's power supply that I know worked and still no post. I then tried putting my power supply in his build and it posted. I ruled the Power Supply out. I took out all the RAM sticks out and still no post. I tried removing the CMOS Battery and I touched the two pins that reset the CMOS as well but still nothing. The only thing I noticed is that the PWR_LED light flashes green and I remember that it used to remain Solid Green when it worked.
I also need to note that the micro usb was already plugged in on the front usb headers before having the other end plugged in to the Controller. What do you guys think caused this problem and what are some potential fixes.
