Microcenter i5-3570k bundle

I got the i5-3570k for $189.00 from microcenter. If that wasn't good enough, I got a $50 discount off the board I bought as a "bundle" as well. Plus a $10 MIR. The board I got was the ASRock Z77 extreme 4, but I know it at least applied to all the other ASRock extreme 6 as well (probably other ones too, though I didn't ask because I wasn't looking at other boards). Figured I'd share the information.

I also picked up this same combo from them last week, heck of a deal... they don't seem to advertise it on their website but when you add both to the cart it will show the discounts. The staff are also very helpful if you go into the store asking about deals, etc...

I got the same combo but didn't notice the $10 dollar mail in rebate. What was it for?

The $10 MIR was for the mobo. I didn't even know it came with one until the cashier said, "Hey, you have a MIR too". I thought, bonus, I was happy with the price without the MIR.

Microcenter has a deal like this all the time. Sometimes $40.00-$60.00 off on a wide selection of boards with the socket they are pushing.

Beyond the CPU/Boards and RAM other prices may(likely) will be better other places so get you price match gameplan together they match Newegg.
