I have the M5A97 LE R.2, the FX-6300 and an ASUS RX-480.
It was all good until August 2019 when Microsoft updated windows 10. Since then I have microfreezing, like writing and it freezes for a second and then all letters suddenly start to appear one after other fast or playing and each 3 minutes the game stutters in video, dropping to 1 FPS for a second.
Is utterly annoying.
Did you had this problem?.
I had to revert my build back to my Phenom II X4 965 BE because the FX was going worse each day. The Phenom still has this problems but much less, though it still screws my playing in games making me lose shots and crashing my planes.
I had reinstalled W10 from clean, have bought a SSD and installed again, tried other RAMs, deleted the Radeon software letting Microsoft standard drivers (it did improved), changed USB and audio drivers for the latest and older versions.
It still stays that problem and is driving me crazy.
I have no money to change up to Ryzen, they are prohibitive right now for me, specially in Argentina where the government just tax 50% imports and 30% more if you buy it abroad. A Ryzen 3 2nd generation right now costs 350 dollars in Argentina.
I'd like to know if you know about this problem of microfreezing in this board with that micro and W10 or is just me. I am thinking in buying a second hand Gigabyte G970A-D3 but I need to be sure it is the motherboard incompatibility with the newest W10 and drivers.
Thank you in advance.
