I have a webcam, the IC014C, and no CD to insert. How do I get the webcam to work on my Windows Vista laptop?

It is suppose to be plug & play in win-7. Vista maybe but (web search) I get the usual driver run around meaning it is not meant to be had. A workaround is install skype and it will make the camera work (in Skype).or some other 3rd party camera software.
