Microlab TMN1 2:1 vs 4:1

Microlab TMN1 2:1 & 4:1 are specifically the same? My brother has one which is 2:1 and I love it. I'm about to buy one and if the specifications goes same I'll go for 4:1.

The 4.1 system isn't actually 4.1 since you don't have 4.1 inputs. They just double up on the stereo satellite speakers. Since they don't increase the power it may not be any improvement. The is no way to tell if the satellites use identical speakers in each system so the sound may not be the same. Safer to get the same speakers as your brother.
