Question Micron 5100 Pro SSD not recognized by AMI BIOS 6.04

Hi, I have a HP Pavilion s5660f PC with AMI BIOS 6.04. I replaced the original HDD with a Micron 5100 Pro SSD (formatted as MBR) and restored the HP factory image (Win 7 x64). The restore was successful and Win 7 can launch normally. However, seems the BIOS cannot recognize the SSD. Every time the machine is rebooted, I cannot enter BIOS; and before Windows is loaded, it reports Master Hard Drive error and ask for F2 to continue. Once I hit F2, Windows loads normally.

I suspect there is a compatibility issue between BIOS 6.04 and this SSD, but cannot find any update for the BIOS from HP site. Appreciate any help on this! Tks!

Install Micron Storage Executive and see if there is a firmware update but it may just be the drive is too new to be supported by your old system.
