Microphone does not pick up any sound. Shows up in "Manage Audio Devices". Was working a week ago.

I have a Laptop.

Its strange. I tried everything, from looking up my laptop online and reinstalling the audio drivers. But there is no avail. I tried plugging in a USB microphone, but that doesnt work either. r I have uninstall and installed my devices!

I checked up audio devices and my microphone shows up, but its just not picking up anything..

The troubleshooter does not work either.

I am at my wit's end!! Im about to just reinstall windows, but that means I have to reinstall everything...
