Microphone is not working after the recent windows 10 update.

My microphone does no longer detect any sounds,
I noticed that the only way to make the mic work is by checking the "Listen To This Device" option but it isn't really practical.
I'm using Windows 10 Pro.

Is the mic enabled and set as the default device? Disable any other input devices. All this can be modified in the "recording devices" tab.

The mic is set as the default device and all the other input devices are disabled.

Go to device manager, find your mic, right click and uninstall the driver. Remove the mic and re-plug it.

Model of Mic? How are you testing it?

Tried doing that, didn't seem to work.
Mic model : BM-800
I'm testing the mic by looking to see if there's any sound being detected at the "Recording" tab.
