Question Microphone isn't working but I can hear through them.

I built a pc recently got it working and now I tried to plug in my headphones and I went on discord and I could hear but I couldn't talk. here are my parts.
AMD Ryzen 3 2200G
8GB Corsair Vengeance LPX
Gigabyte A320M-S2H
240GB Crucial BX500
430W Thermaltake PSU
Rosewill FBM-X2

Did you install proper sound drivers and set microphone as default recording device in windows and Discord ?

Yes I've plugged in 3 things already. I've plugged in apple headphones and some red headphones I had laying around and turtlebeach headphones I used for my ps4 but all these devices worked on my mac.

What does plug on those headphones look like, 3 or 4 ring ?
